What is Tulip?

Tulip is one place for a law firm's clients, cases, hearings, and files. The product is called Firm Manager. It runs on computers your firm controls, against a database only your firm can read, and everything else in Tulip attaches to a case rather than sitting in a separate app.

What it is

One record for your law firm, holding the client, the case, the hearings, the file, the drafts, the messages, and the billing.

What it is not

It is not a cause list subscription, and it is not a shared pool where your firm's cases sit beside another firm's. It does not decide anything for you.

Why a law firm needs one record

A case usually lives in five places at once. The cause list is on a court website, the order is on somebody's drive, the client is on WhatsApp, the fee is in a register, and the next step is in one person's head. Nothing is wrong with any of those. The problem is that no single one of them can tell you where the case stands.

Tulip puts them on the case. When you open a case you can see the next hearing, the last order, what the client was told, what is drafted, and what has been billed, without asking four people.

What we mean by Firm Manager

Firm Manager is the part you open every morning. It holds clients, cases, hearings, people, and the work list. It is the product.

Files, drafts, sign, messages, and billing attach to a case.
Any of them can be switched off and the law firm still runs.
Nothing attaches to anything except a case, so there is only ever one place to look.

Where it runs

On your own computers or your own cloud account, against your own database. Not a seat on a system shared with other law firms. Setup is one-time and the licence stays with your firm.
